Here's some code I wrote in spring 1997.

It's a virtual machine for a bytecode language I called Ganja, because I didn't think that would sound Confusing Similar to any trademark of Sun for another bytecode spec that is surprisingly if not confusingly similar to a superset of Ganja.

Notice it was to use reference counting rather than garbage collection. I still don't know if that was a mistake.
