Reconnect with nature and unwind from the stresses of everyday life at our forest bathing workshops.
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku, forest bathing invites you to slow down and fully immerse yourself in the calming forest environment at Wakehurst. Guided by Swedish teacher and workshop leader Helena Skoog, you'll learn how to engage all your senses to connect deeply with your surroundings. Experience the restorative power of nature as it helps relieve tension, relax your mind, and nourish your sense of well-being.
Come and experience this transformative journey—let nature do the rest.
About the workshop leader
Helena was born and raised in the forests of Sweden and has lived quietly off-grid for over a decade in Sussex's ancient woodlands.
She will guide you through a deeply immersive experience, where the forest's rhythms of renewal, growth, change, and impermanence become second nature. You'll cultivate a sense of inner peace, supported by the living, ever-changing process of nature. No experience is needed—just a willingness to release your troubles, fears, and anxieties.
