Wakehurst invites people living with dementia on an accessible guided walk to explore the gardens through sight, smell and touch.

Led by our expert volunteers, you will learn about the wonderful plants, people and places that make up Wakehurst. Starting at the Visitor Reception and lasting around 60 minutes, the walks are led by our volunteer guides, who are specially trained by the Alzheimer's Society.

Support workers, friends or family are very welcome and will also receive free entry to the gardens.

How to register

We can only accommodate a limited number of people per walk, so registering is essential. Please register in advance by emailing wakehurstcommunity@kew.org.
