Join us for our monthly hands-on gardening workshops.

Taking place in Wakehurst’s Children’s and Community Garden, these sessions offer a practical introduction to sustainable gardening for people who may face who face physical, sensory, psychological, or social barriers to visiting Wakehurst independently.

Sessions focus on biodiversity, edible planting, fungi cultivation, and seasonal plant care. Each workshop will help you build confidence in the garden as you learn horticultural skills and support the development of the gardens.

It’s also a wonderful chance to meet new friends and share gardening experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, come and cultivate your passion for gardening with us!

How to register

We can only accommodate a limited number of people per workshop, so registering is essential. Please register in advance by emailing wakehurstcommunity@kew.org.
