Planned closures

We're always working to improve our UNESCO world heritage site, so occasionally we have to close some features. Please check before your visit to avoid disappointment.

Inside the Princess of Wales Conservatory

Our Gardens are open for you to explore. 

Kew Gardens closures

  • Due to the amber weather warning issued, the Great Pagoda will be closed 11 to 15 August 2025.
  • Parking is prohibited on Kew Road and limited around the area. Consider walking or cycling to us if you are able to.
  • There are no lockers or baggage storage facilities available.

Attractions

  • The Children’s Garden is undergoing some essential maintenance, meaning certain areas of the Garden may be temporarily closed.
  • The Children's Garden is closing early at 3.30pm on Wednesday 27 August for a quiet session.
  • The Board Walk in the Natural Area is closed.
  • The Hive will be closed on 2 and 3 October 2025.
